In my “Sunday Inspiration: KNOW YOUR PLACE” sent on February 27, I mentioned that I’m hosting Os Hillman on a webinar tonight titled “The Story Behind The Story: Today God Is First.” During this webinar, Os will be sharing his life story, how Today God Is First (TGIF) was birthed, and some of the fruit of that. Yesterday Os emailed his custom PowerPoint for tonight’s webinar. As I viewed each of the slides and read the messages, my eyes were filled with tears. I believe that Os’ message tonight will touch the heart and have a profound impact on everyone who chooses to participate. Os writes that God made him to BE an “Articulator and shepherd of foundational ideas that lead to transformation!”

Where you choose to live and work and the environment you are in plays a vital role in shaping who you are and what you can accomplish. In the 18th century Charles Lamb, an English essayist, shared one of the greatest philosophical insights ever articulated when he wrote – “Nothing puzzles me more than TIME and SPACE; and yet nothing troubles me less, as I never think about them.” According to Rick Grubbs, founder of Redeeming The Time ministry, “TIME is your life!” And according to Stephen Roulac, “PLACE is your destiny!” I’d like to invite you to join me on a webinar with Stephen on Thursday Feb 24.

Are you spiritually constipated? It’s been my observation that most of God’s children are. They keep taking more and more in, but let little or nothing out. Sharing your God stories with the world is like a dam breaking to release God’s reservoir of living waters. The more you share, the more God’s fresh living waters can flow through you into other people’s lives. What makes you UNIQUE from anyone else in the world is your STORY. And every day, every week, your story is evolving. People can argue with your beliefs and your doctrine, but no one can argue with your story. It is what it is. BLOGGING to share your God stories is like the Samaritan woman at the well on steroids. Your blog is an online journal shared with the world.

As some of you may know, my life verse is the Greatest Commandment – to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. During the debrief following a recent Breakthrough Life Coaching session, my client told me that one of the takeaway lessons from the coaching session was to love herself. In the past few weeks, I’ve made some major adjustments to my daily and weekly routine. I find myself taking many more breaks, yet accomplishing more things that are bearing good fruit.

On October 27, 2010 I began weekly Breakthrough Life Coaching sessions with Lynne Lee, who lives in Derby, U.K. She and Renato Amato from Italy are strategic players for “The Spiritual Triangle Between Virginia, the U.K. And Italy.” After just two weeks of Breakthrough Life Coaching, Lynne has begun experiencing extraordinary breakthroughs in several areas of her life. For example, Lynne now plans to offer “How To Hear God’s Voice” as a coaching program and she’s now writing a book this weekend that will be published and become a whole series of books.
The following is the November 9 post by Lynne Lee at the Christian Life Coaching Cafe “This is a powerful way to hear God.”

The title of last week’s Sunday Morning Inspiration was “BE in the moment!” It’s interesting that at the 96th annual Culpeper Chamber banquet on Thursday November 4, the keynote speaker from the Virginia Tourism Corporation shared how multitasking is harmful, diluting your focus and impact. How many times each day, each week, do you find yourself distracted, thinking about something else when you are talking to someone or doing something?

This week, your keyword is CONTENTMENT and your key message is “BE Content (with Jesus)!”

What role do the performing arts play in your life and in your community? Yesterday was my pastor’s birthday and my mother’s birthday. Matt preached an outstanding heart-to-heart message called “Stop Praying” directly from the Father’s heart through his heart to our hearts. Afterwards, Julia (my wife) and I had the privilege to honor my mother and celebrate her birthday by going with my parents to the first open house for the Forbes Center For The Performing Arts at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Wow! What a magnificent facility.

The number three stands for that which is solid, real, substantial, complete and entire. Think about it, there are three great divisions of time – past, present, and future. There are 3 dimensions necessary to form anything solid – length, breadth, and height. There is a threefold nature of man – body, soul and spirit. Three is divine perfection. The Bible instructs us that a tri-cord strand is not easily broken. In addition, throughout Scripture three is an incredibly prevalent number. Consider all the threes in Scripture:

What does Joshua 24:14-15 mean? Who is your house, your family serving? Who is sitting on the throne of your life, you or Jesus? Whose kingdom are you building, yours or the kingdom or God? Are you hot, cold, or lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus?

On May 10, I began a 40 day series based on the book The Love Dare, a 40-day challenge for husbands and wives to understand and practice unconditional love. Whether your marriage is hanging by a thread or healthy and strong, The Love Dare is a journey you need to take. Today’s message is “Love is kind.” Love makes you kind. And kindness makes you likeable. When you’re kind, people want to be around you.
