As mentioned in a recent devotional, I replaced the hard drive in my main computer last week which required me to set everything up from scratch again. As I was reinstalling programs, I came across “The Interview With God” screen saver, something I had forgotten about for several years. This poem really spoke to me. “As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone

by practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them.”
