Sunday Inspiration: Creation vs Evolution – What is the significance?
Creation vs Evolution
I have heard it said that the greatest thing undermining education in the public schools in America is the teaching of EVOLUTION as fact and the complete dismissal of CREATION as a possibility.
Is this true? And does this really matter to you and me?
This past week during a worship service for students in a Christian forum, I showed a 10 minute video with Ken Ham talking about Creation and then shared my thoughts for a few minutes about Creation vs Evolution. I was quite shocked about the controversy that ensued afterwards.
During his outstanding video, Ken Ham explains the significance of these two sharply different world views: 1) “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” vs 2) “In the beginning, the Cosmos …” With the former, we as part of God’s creation are accountable to our Creator. However, in the later, each of us is the product of random events and not accountable to God.
Incidentally, Ken Ham is the founder of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum.
When you have the time, I encourage you to watch Ken’s video about creation and share your thoughts in the comment area at the bottom. Thank you.

On Sept 12, I received this message from Ben Stewart, a dear friend and business coach, in response to my “Sunday Inspiration: FREEDOM in Christ.” This really inspired me and Ben gave me permission to share it with you.
I recently got reconnected to John and Cherie Norquay, a couple I met at the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (KEYS) in Feb 2011. I learned that Cherie has been writing her own songs. This YouTube video by Cherie touched my heart. I hope it touches yours too.
