God’s dream + God’s team + God’s theme = streams of living water!

For the past five years, I have participated in a weekly coaching group with three other Christian men, all with a vision to share the love of Jesus with the world. Over time, we have developed trust and these men have become my closest friends, next to my wife. Their godly counsel, encouragement, and prayers have been invaluable to me and my family. Each of us has “increased in wisdom … and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52).

Jesus had only twelve disciples and three of those (Peter, John, and James) were part of his inner circle. They were the only ones to witness several very special moments in Jesus’ life. For instance. these three men were the only ones who saw Jesus transfigured on the mountain. Everyone can benefit from their own inner circle of close, godly friends.

Heavenly Father, thank You for my close friends in the Christian accountability group. Thank You for their godly counsel which has helped me function better at home and at work. I ask you to multiply the blessings they have bestowed on me in their lives and families. I ask you to direct the steps of those who read this message to be blessed by participating in their own LIFE groups. For those people who feel like they don’t have a single close friend, I ask You to teach them to be a friend. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
