About 3 years ago, I got connected with Connie Ragen Green. Her story of surviving a career change and then thriving really hit home to me. A few years after retiring as a teacher, Connie was on the very of losing her home in California. So she set a goal of creating a $5,000 per month residual income stream within 3 months from affiliate marketing, promoting other people’s products. Without a website or an email list, Connie achieved her goal by simply writing one article each day and publishing those articles in EzineArticles for free. Connie went on from there to teach about affiliate marketing and started her own internet marketing training program.

In the middle of my sabbatical year, I was led to begin what ultimately turned out to be ten months of training to become a certified Lifeforming Leadership Coach. And on my very first day of training (June 1, 2007), I got connected to Dr. Jerry Graham, who just happened (if you believe in coincidences which I don’t) to come out to observe Scott Wozniac, the coach trainer for my group who he had trained. From Jerry and Sharon, I learned more Wellness than I had in 25 years of being a physician.

In the past few years, I have set up several hundred blogs, written more than 2,000 blog posts, and have more than 2,500 email subscribers with a goal of one million within 5 years. Two days ago on December 15, during our weekly Breakthrough Life Coaching call, my son Robbie advised me to spend time during my pre-Christmas vacation to reflect on the past year and plan strategically for the upcoming year. That seems logical and easy to do, but I hadn’t done this for 5 years. Robbie told me that I could possibly accomplish more in a week by reflecting on my previous year than I had by working hard all year long. It’s interesting that Robbie brought this up when he did because just two days earlier I was sernedipitously led to a blog post I had written five years earlier titled “How to End the Year Strong.”

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love (the Holy Spirit) gave to me, A VOICE To Be Heard. To me, Marnie Pehrson is a hero. Somehow, in a busy, busy world, she has found a healthy work-life balance despite being the mother of six children and running her own highly successful internet marketing business. I appreciate how Marnie openly and gently shares her Christian faith. Each time I hear her speak, I feel the love of God emanating from her. Therefore, in obedience to the Holy Spirit, I am dedicating my new book Master’s Mind Marketing and the corresponding website to Marnie.

Boy 2010 went by fast. It seemed like a big blur until I started to review highlights from my journal and post photos for the entire year at Flickr. Then I was able to appreciate how rich the year really was. Our family is SO BLESSED. And we are grateful for EVERY good gift that comes from above, from the Father of lights. This year, with our combined email lists, we are sending our special greeting to more than 2,000 people.
