It seems as if God is focusing His attention this year on addressing the big elephant in the room in many churches, namely po*rnography.

On Superbowl Sunday (February 6, 2011), our pastor at Soul Purpose Church kicked off a 4-week teaching series encouraging sexual purity with a video from this organization (http://xxxchurch.com). Our church joined thousands of others in this nationwide campaign.
Then the topic of the annual men’s retreat at Shenandoah Springs Camp on May 20-21 was Every Man’s Battle – Winning the War on Sexual Temptation.
In my Sunday Inspiration on May 22, I was prompted to include a link to videos for Every Man’s Battle [http://www.everymansbattle.com/blogs/videos/]. In response to that message, my good friend Judi Reid wrote this regarding:

Dear Joseph,
Please remember Somebody’s Daughter as a resource. It is one of the most powerful ones ever created. At this site, are many endorsements. And Steve Siler has an incredible portfolio of how this resource (CD, DVD, + Discussion Guide) has been used all over the country to touch families. This one is especially effective to let men know how po*rnography effects the women/wives in their lives. Each woman is a daughter of the King-Somebody’s Daughter in heaven and on earth. Pastors share their struggles, a husband and wife become vulnerable with their testimony and there is a section for young men.
Also at this site are resources for almost any topic that is “tough” to address: eating disorders, abortion recovery, special needs, sex trafficking, child abuse, cancer…
Whatever you can do to impact lives and give them hope through these God-gifted creations would bless so many whom you serve as connector in the Kingdom.
