Dear friend,

At 10:37 am this morning I received an email from Laurie Roberts titled “PLEASE HELP TODAY! THANK YOU!”

After reading what Laurie wrote and being aware of some of the miracles behind this huge God story, I couldn’t get this out of my mind.

Within the next 3-5 hours (i.e. 7-9 pm Eastern tonight), Laurie needs to raise another $2,000 to be able to take her 11 year old daugther Ieesha to Hollywood from Mexico. Earlier this morning, they needed about $3,600, but then someone stepped forward and offered to cover the $1668.00 cost for the training by AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talens For Christ).

Ieesha Esperanza’s names mean “tree of life” and “hope.” She believes she is a tree of life and her calling is to be HOPE.

Ieesha believes that she is called to be a model of hope to other young women, especially to Hispanic youth and Mexicans. Her hope and plan has been that with the resources and connections in this industry, she would like to start her own clothing & design company while she is studying to become a structural engineer and architect. Her company is called Tree of Life Enterprises, Inc. and the vision is to build amazing communities that are self sustaining, full of life, and all natural – not destructive to trees and the natural environment of the area.

I first met Ieesha in person at the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (KEYS) in Los Angeles (Hollywood) on March 21. She is an extraordinary young lady manifesting the beauty of God on both the inside and outside. Her desire has been to be a model as a ‘Step One’ of her very detailed life plan that she has been writing out for over a year already.

Ieesha had a miracle moment at KEYS Hollywood. Through a sequence of extrarodinary events, God opened the door for Ieesha to audition with AMTC on Sat March 24. The next day she was accepted into their training program.

I am writing to you to share this story to ask you to consider helping us make this dream come true.

If Ieesha is not able to fly with her mother tomorrow morning, she will have to wait another year to do so. I sense strongly that the destiny of Mexico and America hinges on our obedience to meet this need.

UPDATE on April 15, 2012

Laurie and Ieesha were able to raise enough to fly from Mexico to Los Angeles on Friday April 13. After Ieesha’s first full day of training on April 14, Laurie wrote, “Today was amazing seeing Ieesha SHINE! She has so much fun in her, so refreshing and full of life. What an amazing team here at AMTC WORLD. Their faith and encouragement to each participant is evident in all that they do. Thank you again to all of you who prayed and gave!”

Laurie and Ieesha still need to raise another $800 in the next few days to cover their expenses in Los Angeles. If you feel led to give, you may do so here.
