Rev. Dave Parrish has a heart to see men rise up to be the godly fathers God wants them to be. He is the founder of InRich Ministries. I first met Dave and his family about five years ago. Dave has a lovely wife and seven well-behaved children. When I think about someone fulfilling the Great Commission, I think about Dave and the godly role he has served training seven disciples (his children) to walk in the ways of the LORD. The Great Commission begins at home.

On May 25-26, 2007, InRich Ministries will sponsor its first Family Conference in Culpeper. The conference will take place on Friday night and all day Saturday, May 25-26 at the Germanna Center for Advanced Technology (GCAT) in Culpeper. The theme of the conference is “Biblical Foundations for Strong Families” and will feature three speakers: Mike Snavely, Israel Wayne, and Dave Parrish.

The theme of the conference is “Biblical Foundations for Strong Families” and will feature three speakers: Mike Snavely, Israel Wayne, and myself. If you don’t already know Mike and Israel, or have not been exposed to their ministries or resources, you are in for a treat. During the weekend we will have 5 keynotes sessions on topics such as: “Developing a Biblical Worldview,” “The Priority of Christ in Family Life,” and “Evidence for a Global Flood.” We will also have 2 workshop/seminar sessions with several subjects to choose from, including: “Aunt Lucy?” (Did we really come from apes?) and “Developing Spiritual Values in our Children.” Many of the sessions will be of great interest to the children, but we will also be providing some alternate opportunities for the kids.
