WFJ: Thinking Big and Acting Small (humility) is the key to every highly successful business!

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20)

Where is your faith right now? Where do you want it to be 1 month, 3 months, 12 months, and 3 years from now?

Wow! Yippee! Hooray! That’s how I feel right now. My spirit is jumping for joy. Why? Because I’m experiencing breakthroughs and also because I experience God in extraordinary ways for extraordinary fruit almost every day. And this morning was no exception.

Let me explain. For the past year, we have had a Coaches Mastermind Group that meets virtually (online) every other week. In October 2009, two of our members opened the door for five of us to take Janet Daughtry’s 10-week Breakthrough Coach Training course starting in early November.

Around that same time, my son Robbie asked me to resume coaching him again on a weekly basis. The breakthroughs my son is experiencing in several areas of his life are extraordinary. I have never before witnessed someone grow so fast. Robbie has been my best coaching client ever. In addition, as a result of coaching Robbie, I am experiencing breakthroughs in several areas of my life. It’s fun, it’s family, it’s fulfilling, and it’s fruitful.

This morning I sent an email to Janet Daughtry. In that I wrote, “Thank you for another inspiring Breakthrough Coach Training session yesterday. You and this course are having a profound and positive impact on me and my thinking. This is definitely your gift, passion, and God-given assignment.”

Let me share a little of what transpired in the past week.

God has really been working on my heart to bless the people of Haiti. On Monday Jan 18, the Holy Spirit directed the focus of our weekly Words From Jesus virtual prayer call to be for the people and nation of Haiti. Bertha Hinson, Renato Amato (Italy), Lynne Lee (U.K.), Nancy Slocum, and I all participated in that call.

Then on Wednesday night Jan 20, Bertha sent me an email asking for my help in hosting a webinar with Gary LeBlanc, founder of Mercy Chefs, who is planning to go to Haiti shortly to bring not only quality physical food, but spiritual food as well.

The next day (Thurs Jan 21), I attended my first-ever meeting with The C12 Group in Charlottesville from 9:30 am – 4 pm. What is The C12 Group?  “Christian CEO’s and Owners Building Great Business For A Greater Purpose!“

Later that evening, Carrie Stone and I hosted Rick and Carrie Grubbs, founders of Life Changing Seminars, for the their first-ever webinar titled “Redeeming The Time!” Over the past 25 years, Rick has shared this divine message to live audiences more than 1,500 times in more than 20 nations of the world. Carrie Stone, Virginia Morton, and I all agreed this is the best presentation on TIME any of us have ever heard. It was just good. It was just great. It was God speaking to us through Rick and Carrie on how to redeem our time.

During my two-way journaling time the next morning (Jan 22), the LORD told me:

1) Yesterday, your eyes were opened wide by Rick Grubbs to the value of time, that Time = LIFE. When you waste time, you waste your life.

2) To be a catalyst to save more than one billion souls, you must BE a great leader – a level 5 leader as the author of “Good to Great” wrote.

3) Yesterday, I showed you at The C12 Group meeting that Thinking Big and Acting Small (humility) is the key to every highly successful business.

After the weekly Words From Jesus prayer call on Jan 25, Bertha and I met to finalize our plans for the webinar with Gary LeBlanc later that afternoon. After a powerful discussion, we settled on the title “Haiti: The Integrity of God” based on prophetic words she had received from the LORD earlier that morning. Bertha shared that FEAR is the number one tactic of the enemy!

The live webinar with Gary LeBlanc and Bertha was awesome. The stories Gary shared and his passion were so inspirational. Gary shared how Mercy Chefs is “feeding the sheep,” both physically and spiritually. And that’s what Haiti desperately needs. Humanitarian aid alone is not sufficient for long-term solutions to long-standing problems. There is a spiritual undercurrent to everything.

Then what happened yesterday, blew me out of the water. God’s presence, miracles, and messages are becoming so prominent. I had gone to bed the night before around 9:30 pm and woke up at 3:30 am to use the bathroom. When I came back to bed, I was wide awake, so I decided to listen to my scheduled iTunes playlist for Day #26. Then I lay in bed a short while while resting and reflecting. The primary thought that came to my mind is “TEACHING SELLS.”

After getting up around 5:00 am, I came to my desk and immediately began to journal. Within 15 minutes, I was prompted to post a new entry at Journal777 titled “#WFJ: THINKING BIG and ACTING SMALL (humility) is the key to every highly successful business” using my January 22 two-way prayer.

When I met with Robbie less than one hour later (7 am) for our weekly “Breakthrough Coaching” session, the Holy Spirit prompted to briefly share about this Journal777 post. Robbie then said, “Dad, every time I talk to you, it seems whatever you bring up is related to what I’m just doing.” Robbie then shared how he just started reading a book the day before called “The Magic of THINKING BIG” by David Schwartz.

At 10:45 am, during our weekly Team Destiny meeting for a Web 2.0 client, I received an email from Frank Meadows, founder of the Meadows Healing Prayer Center asking me to call him for help updating his website. It’s interesting that I had been prompted to call Frank several times in the past few weeks even though I hadn’t spoken to him for about 12 months. When I called Frank, I learned that his wife’s boss is Gary LeBlanc wife and that Frank’s son Ryan will be going to Haiti with Gary and Mercy Chefs.

Is it a small world? I don’t think so. We live in a big world with a BIGGER God. Every time something like this happens, God is winking at us saying here I AM. I AM a God of miracles. I AM supernatural. I defy all odds.

Well, if that wasn’t enough, when I joined the weekly Marching Through Culpeper prayer call later yesterday afternoon, Virginia Morton told our prayer tribe that our keyword for this week is FAITH – faith bigger than our fears. And Carrie Stone happened to be on that call. Carrie wrote a book recently titled “BREAKING THE PARALYSIS OF FEAR.”

So that brings us back to the original title of today’s message “How much faith do YOU have and how much do you want?”

Where is your faith right now? Where do you want it to be 1 month, 3 months, 12 months, and 3 years from now?

Over the past 8 years, God has used journaling, coaching, and my life experiences to build tremendous FAITH. That’s something I can TEACH and pass on to you if you’re interested. I frequently tell people, “I’m allergic to small thinking!” So is God. As Hebrews 11:6 states, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

SO WHAT? NOW WHAT?
