Following God’s bread crumbs
On Sunday May 20, I published my Sunday Inspiration titled “The power of forgiveness and team (unity).” That led Marlene Smith to email me later that day to encourage me and refer me to the song “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.” The next morning I was prompted to publish another message by that name.
In respnse to that blog post, Ellen Cook posted a comment referring me to two other songs “Jesus Friend Forever” and “Your Love Is Everything.” She wrote, “It brought to mind two songs heard from Jesus Culture, the first one hitting home as I watched ibethelTV and participated in worship.”
As I was journaling this morning having my dialogue with the LORD, I was instructed to share these this message and these two songs with you. I’m simply following God’s bread crumbs. Don’t know where this will lead, but I do know that I am madly in love with my King and I can trust God’s love.
Delirious? – What a Friend I’ve Found (Friend Forever)
Jesus, friend forever
Jesus Friend Forever – Cover – Delirious
Lyrics to Jesus, friend forever
What a friend I’ve found
Closer than a brother
I have felt your touch
More intimate than lovers
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
Friend forever
What a hope I’ve found
More faithful than a mother
It would break my heart
To ever lose each other
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
Friend forever
Your Love Is Everything by Jesus Culture (Acoustic Cover with lyrics)
Your Love Is Everything – Jesus Culture (Jayesslee cover)
Lyrics to Your Love Is Everything
When I’m dry and thirsty, Lord
And I’m crying out for more
I know I can trust in your love
In the darkness, in the night
When I’m starving for the light
I know I can trust in Your love.
You keep no record of my sin
You don’t remember all my shame
Your love heals every disease
Your love fulfils my every need
Your love is everything to me
Your love is everything
I will not forget,
I won’t forget your promises
I will not forget,
I won’t forget your love
I will not forget,
Nothing is impossible
I will not forget,
I won’t forget your love
Blessings to follow God’s bread crumbs!
