America’s 400th Anniversary
In Virginia and America we are still being blessed by what happened 400 years ago!
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. (Psalm 46:4)
How can you best multiply these messages?
In Virginia and America we are still being blessed by what happened 400 years ago on April 29, 1607. After three days of prayer and fasting, the English settlers who landed at Cape Henry in Virginia Beach planted a large cross and dedicated the land to Jesus Christ.
On Sunday April 29, 2007, the official 400th anniversary of this memorable event, there will be a huge celebration in Virginia Beach to rededicate America to God. See www.theassembly2007.org.
Culpeper Virginia, the cradle of religious freedom for the world, is planning its own local rededication celebration. All the churches in Culpeper are encouraged to have their own rededication ceremonies on April 29 during their regular Sunday morning worship services. This will be followed by a community prayer walk with a large cross starting in downtown Culpeper at 2 PM to dedicate Culpeper to Jesus Christ. Other communities in Virginia and America are encouraged to do likewise.
