Global Day Of Prayer May 31, 2009
How will you celebrate the Global Day of Prayer today on Pentecost Sunday?
Faith comes from looking at God, not the mountain!
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” – Habakkuk 2:14
You are invited today (Pentecost Sunday) to join hundreds of millions of Christians in 220 nations of the world celebrating the Global Day of Prayer (GDOP). Live GDOP observances are being broadast live by God TV. CLICK HERE to watch.
For those of you who live in or near Culpeper, Virginia we are planning a community-wide Observance today from 3:30 pm until dusk at the Yowell Meadow Park, Pavilion A. The vision is for the worship leaders of the various churches to lead us, as a community, into worship, and praise as we join together with others around the globe in mutual and unified repentance and prayer. Please consider bringing a blanket and a picnic basket and stay until dusk.
The program will be fluid/flexible.
Order will be determined on-site based on your needs (i.e., choirs, and those needing to leave early, will be given priority)
The worship leader/musicians will take the lead, prayer leaders will step in between praise & worship selections.
Pastor Jacob Phillips and Dr. Charlene Phillips, President Culpeper Ministerial Association have privilege.
