12 Days of Christmas – Day #3: Three acts of kindness

15 Dec

On the third day of day of Christmas, my true love (Jesus) gave to me…
Three acts of kindness
Two new friends
And One heart praising Thee!

Welcome to Day #3 of your “12 Days of Christmas” journey, preparing the way of the Lord!

When Dr. Jerry Graham and I went to Dayton Ohio in February 2010 to meet with Tim Schofield, we were introduced to Tim’s business coach, Steve White. Talking to Steve was so encouraging. Steve told me each day he tries to do 100 random acts of kindness. Can you imagine that? Wow!

What if each of us purposed to do even 3 random acts of kindness daily? The world would be a different place.

Your key word today is “SMILE!”

Your key message is “Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the and the blind can see. ~Mark Twain

Your key scripture is Colossians 3:12 – Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

What would the world be like if we all took a purposeful intent to be more validating of others? What if we went out of our way to see others as God sees them? As real people with real gifts and talents (albeit latent or dormant in some cases), but with unique and magnificent capabilities that have been suppressed? Can you imagine such a scenario?

Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day.

Blessings to SMILE and BE kind!
