How many of you want God to just slap you with favor?

Early this morning I was awoken by a severe thunderstorm very close to our home. Literally, I was shaken out of bed. When I discovered Julia was not home, I came downstairs intending to call her on her cell phone. In doing so, I found a voice message saying she had to go back to Falls Church last night while driving home because Interstate 66 was completely blocked off because of a serious accident.

Because I was wide awake by this point, I began online journaling. While doing so, the Holy Spirit prompted me to listen to the first CD of a 4 CD set titled “FAVOR” by Lance Wallnau that Virginia Morton recently loaned me. Favor was prominent on my radar screen because twice in the past two days, people prayed for uncommon favor for me. Three times in the past week I felt God’s glory cloud descend on me.

After listening to and taking notes from Lance’s awesome first CD about favor, I found myself updating Virginia’s “Marching Through Culpeper” website. That led me to add Virginia’s new website and God story on my Peck Webs website.

In this process I realized that the Marching Through Culpeper movie project is by far the biggest God story I have ever been involved with from a marketing perspective on the web.

Prayer Power
Heavenly Father, thank You for this uncommon morning. Thank You for Your uncommon favor. I pray for a new maturity in Your people to be able to handle the substance of favor to displace the darkness of nations. I pray many people will seize the opportunity today to learn about “UNCOMMON Journaling for breakthroughs.” In Jesus name, the Holy One of Israel, I pray. Amen and hallelujah.

“Bringing reconciliation to our shattered land”

Virginia B. Morton is author of “Marching Through Culpeper – Novel of Culpeper, Virginia, Crossroads of the Civil War.” First published in 2001, her book sold 10,000 copies by early 2008, a major milestone for a first-time, self-published author, especially for such a lengthy novel.

On February 19, 2005, Dr. Randy Peck interviewed Virginia on his local Culpeper TV show called “A Life of Blessing.” This was a major turning point for Virginia and the destiny of her book because it brought the FAVOR of God. That was because the TV interview was the first time Virginia publically shared her God story of how and why the novel came to be.

In June 2005, by divine providence, Virginia met Rick Heeren when Randy was showing him around Culpeper. A few months later, Virginia found herself meeting weekly with the Pray Culpeper team that was birthed out of Rick’s first visit to Culpeper.

In August 2007, at the recommendation of Dr. Randy Peck, Virginia launched weekly prayer conference calls to lay the foundation for her epic Civil War novel to be turned into a TV miniseries and then a major motion picture. Through these prayer calls, Dr. Peck’s heart was captured to come alongside Virginia as an UNCOMMON Internet Marketing Coach to guide her to her destiny.

While Virginia already had a website at www.edgehillbooks.com for several years, she could not easily update it, nor did it have any videos. So in March 2008, Dr. Randy Peck and his web team created a brand new website at www.marchingthroughculpeper.com along with a matching blog. A gorgeous header was designed. Navigation was completely reworked. 3 different key videos were added.

By July 1, 2008, Virginia will have launched regular (at least weekly) email campaigns and these will be archived on her blog. While her search engine rankings have already improved considerably since launching the new website and blog, they will quickly improve much more. Peck Webs is now helping Virginia share her life and world-changing message of reconciliation with people around the world.

By the Fall of 2008, thousands of Civil War and history buffs will be inspired weekly by Virginia written and video stories. To God be the glory!
