Hi John,

Thank you for your comment. I don't go to an Episocopal church, nor do I consider myself as belonging to one Christian denomination. When people ask me what denomination I am, I reply by saying "I'm a follower of Jesus." Many of my good friends are devout Catholics. I personally enjoy going to the Catholic masses and find them very rich. I agree with Jesus' prayer to be one with "all believers."

Blessings,
Randy

Dr Peck
Connected to the body of Christ perhaps means not just getting council from your own kind. I just read Mark Virkler's ebook "Dialogue with God". Good read. I recommend it. If I remember from your seminar you are Episcopal and Jerry Graham (the counseling pair) is Baptist and Mark Virkler is Pentecostal or some such combination. I am Catholic. I think God's voice is distorted when you only pick councilors from the same religious sect as you are steeped in. If you are liberal talk also to a conservative. If you are Catholic talk to a one of those Martin Luther protesters (smile). We have had some troubling times in our leadership because of the cloistering of the clergy. Jesus prayer was that we might "all be one" who are true followers of Him. Perhaps that does not just mean the Bible thumpers or the Pius priests, that could mean "all believers".
