Friends,

I received the following announcement from Virginia Morton about a Christian film that is coming to Culpeper’s State Theatre. Thought you could help spread the word.

Dear Ed,

I am helping Nina May with publicity for the World Premiere of her award winning movie “Life Fine Tuned” that will be held at the State Theater Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Nina is a mighty woman of God and her first movie has won a dozen awards including first place at the International Family Film Festival in LA. It beat out 100 films made by major studios including Disney and Dreamworks. We have been praying for years for Christians to conquer the film industry. Not only is God answering those prayers, but He is answering them right here in Culpeper and the surrounding region. The movie was shot on Davis St. and in Rappahannock County. Therefore we need to get our churches behind this premiere so we can show our unity and support.

A young, temperamental rock star named “Star” storms out of her rehearsal in DC and ends up in the foothills of Rappahannock County. A home schooling family takes her in, and by becoming lost she escapes the pressures of stardom and finds the real meaning of life. One of my favorite scenes is Star’s baptism in the river at Gid Brown Church.

Culpeper has a golden opportunity to jumpstart a beautifully touching independent movie and to send a message to Hollywood and the State Theater that this is the kind of quality entertainment we want. All help is appreciated.

I’ve attached a poster. To stir up interest, “Star” can be followed during her current world tour that will culminate in Culpeper Dec. 13, 2013.
