Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames

19 Sep

It’s impossible to straddle the line; either you are for Jesus or against Him.

But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:7)

When judgment day comes, will Jesus say He knew you?

In yesterday’s devotional, I mentioned that “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames” was the first thing listed on Laura Kebede’s prayer list for the upcoming school year. This drama is taking place at 7 PM on Sep 23, 24, and 25 at the Carver Piedmont Technical Education Center on Route 15 in southern Culpeper County. Admission is free. Nursery and children’s ministry are provided. Please help spread the word.

Year after year, in large cities and small rural communities alike, the compelling drama “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames” is impacting churches all over America.

For congregations that have a desire to reach your community for Christ, Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames is an effective tool. With the proliferation of Internet, DVD’s, Video Games, television, and security concerns America is becoming homebound. And yet it’s never been more important to reach people with the Gospel of Christ. Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames breaks through with an old-fashioned gospel message presented in a modern way.” There is Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun.”

This live drama draws its cast from among local church members. The plays are strictly focused to ensure a consistent performance every time. A highly trained and experienced director comes to your town, trains the cast, brings the lighting, sound, costumes, sets, props, and directs the drama.

Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames had a huge positive impact on my daughter when she first saw it in 2001. Nowadays, many people don’t believe there is such a thing as hell. But Jesus sure did. So did the apostle Paul, the greatest salesman in history for the Word of God.

An authentic Christian walk begins with a moment of surrender to Jesus as LORD and is followed by a daily surrender to Him. When a person commits his life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit enters that person and begins a process of transformation from the inside out. It does not work to try to clean up our act on our own. Any religion that requires good works for salvation denies the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Power
Heavenly Father, you promise that some day there will be a judgment day. And all those who deny Jesus as LORD and Savior will be condemned to an eternity of torment. I pray that people who read this message who do not know Jesus personally will invite Him into their hearts. Bless this week’s performance of Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames in Culpeper. May we see abundant eternal fruit. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
