Jesus Is Alive, Again!

The cornerstone of a Christian’s faith is the RESURRECTION of Jesus. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single act in history that separates Christianity from every other religion, every other philosophy, and every other belief system in the world.

The great apostle Paul wrote, “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!” (1 Cor. 15:17, NKJV)

WHY THE RESURRECTION?

1) Only Jesus is God’s perfect sacrifice who could pay for our sins because He was God in the flesh and therefore had God’s holy nature.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1,14, NKJV)

2) It proves the sacrifice was accepted by God and that Jesus has power over death.

3) The resurrection restores mankind back to eternal life and from sin and death.

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:20-22, NKJV)

4) A monumental event demands a response:

“if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

5) The resurrection empowers a new life and new choices:

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4, NKJV)

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another–to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. (Romans 7:4, NKJV)

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 John 5:13-15, NKJV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galations 5:22-23, NKJV)

Attached is the new brochure on the Sculpture Prayer Garden that TCKF has prepared to attract thousands of tourists to see “The Empty Cross” here in Kerrville. Access from Benson Dr. is now open to the public. The contractor is still working on paving our main entrance, but for now we have temporary bypass road around the construction area, so people can reach the cross.

The new brochure does not picture all the other monumental Christian sculptures that have been donated by the Paddlefords, the Broussards and my family, since they have not been installed yet. We did not want to create false expectations of what tourists can see at this time.

Therefore, we focused on the one powerful sculpture that can be viewed now, which is the centerpiece of the entire 23 acre Garden. TCKF will update this tourism brochure when more sculptures are placed. However, we believe the massive, open cross alone will draw many people to Jesus and His cross now. Plus, miracles are happening everyday at the cross, to hundreds of people, so the Holy Spirit will use these true stories to draw people who are looking for the real God.

This particular brochure is designed to create curiosity in the minds of the public and a hunger for God, so people will actually come to Kerrville to see the massive cross.

Once tourists walk inside the monumental cross, they will be able to read the four wall plaques, which share the Gospel. People will then have the opportunity to reach out to God, inside the 77’7″ cross, in the 7′ wide holy place.

I am working on a second brochure now which will feature the text of the four plaques, so people can take this evangelistic message of the cross home with them. These tracts will be available at the Garden. The text is already available online, at our websites:

Charles W. “Chuck” Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship and the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, died this afternoon from complications of a brain hemorrhage. Colson was 80 years old and was surrounded by his wife Patty and family as he graduated to Heaven. (Photo: Christian Post)

According to chuckcolson.org, “Colson spent the last years of his life in the dual role of leading Prison Fellowship, the world’s largest outreach to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families, and the Colson Center, a teaching and training center focused on Christian worldview thought and application. Colson maintained that the greatest joy in life for him was to see those ‘living monuments’ to God’s grace: Prisoners transformed by the love of Jesus Christ.”

Colson was involved in the Watergate scandal in the early 70s, which lead him to spending a year in federal prison. It was there where his ministry and legacy was birthed. After being released, Chuck founded Prison Fellowship in 1976 to “proclaim to inmates the love and the power of Jesus Christ.” In 1977, he started a Biblically-based teaching seminar in prison which paved the way for hundreds of thousands of prisoners to receive Bible studies across the nation and has spread worldwide ever since. Prison Fellowship relies on more than 20,000 volunteers nationwide and is also an international ministry in more than 100 countries worldwide through the work of Prison Fellowship International.

This morning as I was preparing this message to share with the world, I was led to do more research about Chuck. Here are some of the heart-grabbing resources I was led to:

Mission/Vision//Values of Prison Fellowship

Bio of Charles W. Colson

More than 30 years ago, Charles W. Colson was not thinking about reaching out to prison inmates or reforming the U.S. penal system.

In fact, this aide to President Richard Nixon was “incapable of humanitarian thought,” according to the media of the mid-1970s.

Colson was known as the White House “hatchet man,” a man feared by even the most powerful politicos during his four years of service to President Nixon.

When news of Colson’s conversion to Christianity leaked to the press in 1973, the Boston Globe reported, “If Mr. Colson can repent of his sins, there just has to be hope for everybody.”

Colson would agree. He admits he was guilty of political “dirty tricks” and willing to do almost anything for the cause of his president and his party.

In 1974, Colson entered a plea of guilty to Watergate-related charges; although not implicated in the Watergate burglary, he voluntarily pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in the Daniel Ellsberg case.

He entered Alabama’s Maxwell Prison in 1974 as a new Christian and as the first member of the Nixon administration to be incarcerated for Watergate-related charges. He served seven months of a one-to-three year sentence before being released.

But Colson never really left prison. Haunted by the desperation and hopelessness he saw behind bars, Colson knew he had to do something to help the men he left behind. In fact, he had a promise to keep.

At 10:37 am this morning I received an email from Laurie Roberts titled “PLEASE HELP TODAY! THANK YOU!”

After reading what Laurie wrote and being aware of some of the miracles behind this huge God story, I couldn’t get this out of my mind.

Within the next 3-5 hours (i.e. 7-9 pm Eastern tonight), Laurie needs to raise another $2,000 to be able to take her 11 year old daugther Ieesha to Hollywood from Mexico. Earlier this morning, they needed about $3,600, but then someone stepped forward and offered to cover the $1668.00 cost for the training by AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talens For Christ).

Ieesha Esperanza’s names mean “tree of life” and “hope.” She believes she is a tree of life and her calling is to be HOPE.

Ieesha believes that she is called to be a model of hope to other young women, especially to Hispanic youth and Mexicans. Her hope and plan has been that with the resources and connections in this industry, she would like to start her own clothing & design company while she is studying to become a structural engineer and architect. Her company is called Tree of Life Enterprises, Inc. and the vision is to build amazing communities that are self sustaining, full of life, and all natural – not destructive to trees and the natural environment of the area.

I first met Ieesha in person at the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (KEYS) in Los Angeles (Hollywood) on March 21. She is an extraordinary young lady manifesting the beauty of God on both the inside and outside. Her desire has been to be a model as a ‘Step One’ of her very detailed life plan that she has been writing out for over a year already.

Ieesha had a miracle moment at KEYS Hollywood. Through a sequence of extrarodinary events, God opened the door for Ieesha to audition with AMTC on Sat March 24. The next day she was accepted into their training program.

After Ieesha’s first full day of training on April 14, Laurie wrote, “Today was amazing seeing Ieesha SHINE! She has so much fun in her, so refreshing and full of life. What an amazing team here at AMTC WORLD. Their faith and encouragement to each participant is evident in all that they do. Thank you again to all of you who prayed and gave!”

Today is Easter, also known as Resurrection Sunday, the most significant day in the Christian calendar.

My pastor frequently refers to Easter as the Christian Superbowl. More people go to worship services on Easter and Christmas than any other days of the year.

This message today is the most profound one I have ever written. If you are open to receive blessings from the throne room of heaven, this message will inspire, enlighten, and tranform you.

On Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who came as the Passover Lamb 2,000 years ago and will return soon as the Lion of Judah.

According to Ron DiCianni, “The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single act in history that separates Christianity from every other religion, every other philosophy, and every other belief system!”

Ron is a world renown artist who was commissioned a few years ago to paint the largest mural ever of the resurrection (12 fee high by 40 feet wide). It took him two years to complete. The Resurrection Painting now hangs in the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas Texas.

More than anything eles, the message of the cross is one of FORGIVENESS. Without unconditional forgiveness, it’s impossible to experience the unconditional Agape love of Father God.

Chances are you are in bondage right now because of unforgiveness, be it obvious or hidden. The Holy Spirit is inviting you to be set free.

At the end of the worship service on the last day (March 25) of the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (KEYS) in Los Angeles, John Anderson said the three most powerful words you can ever say are “I forgive you!”

In an earlier email sent on Februrary 13, John wrote:

The critical importance of forgiveness has been emphasized over and over.

Some have raised their eyes at “forgiving God” – since He cannot Sin – - – but I have certainly been angry – upset – disappointed – offended by His action or delays….. and that always damages my willingness to trust Him completely…… So, forgive the OFFENSE you TOOK …. rather than the OFFENSE He gave…….. in any case Forgive.

In a recent church service, I was asked to pray for a lady with severe fibromyalgia (hands had not opened in 3 years). I distinctly heard “Forgive God” as a nudge. I refused to pray for her….but told her I could FIX her hands. She repeated “Father, I forgive you” and was totally healed inside of 10 seconds. A minute later, her husband (Arthritic back) prayed “I forgive myself…” and was totally healed.

Folks, I honestly have overlooked the power of forgiveness – especially of Self and of the Lord – until recently. Try it – let me know what you find.

This week I received an email from Cherie Norquay with a link to her her new and original music video called When He Reached. Enjoy! This is one of the most beautiful music videos I have ever seen about the power of the resurrection for each of us.

Hi, I’m Ieesha Esperanza, my names mean “tree of life and hope”. I believe that your first name is who you are and your second is your calling. So I am a tree of life and my calling is to be hope. Thank you for all your support and believing in my dreams!

Ieesha, my little daughter, had a miracle moment at KEYS Hollywood. Ieesha’s desire has been to be a model & actress as a ‘Step One’ of her very detailed life plan that she has been writing out for over a year already. She has had a lot of prophetic confirmations along the way but I have to say as her mother and a sister in the Lord watching the hand of Almighty God moving in the life of this young Esther, it is all quite incredible.

We are writing to you to share this testimony and ask you to prayerfully consider helping us make this dream come true. At this time I want to see at least another 1200 children for 2012 sponsored for our children’s program and so to spend money without real assurance from the Lord that HE is in this opportunity for Ieesha would be impossible for me personally even if I had the money to do it. Truly without the strong confirmations Ieesha received, I would never consider spending the time, effort, and money to put her into the model training. I know with all my heart that Ieesha is not mine she is the Lord’s and that the Children’s Program that we are called to build and serve Mexico’s youth is also not mine but the Lord’s. So I am going to trust and flow and pray that you will do the same as you prayerfully consider sponsoring Ieesha to move into her destiny and also our Children’s program to change a nation for the Kingdom. I believe together we can all make this happen. Even if it is $5.00 each we can do it!

We had no idea in the natural that there would be any opportunity at KEYS Hollywood to pursue her dream of becoming a model. We did, however, feel led to work on a portfolio and trust for an open door somehow in the future. Ieesha worked hard on her portfolio. Please look at the photos we’ve posted.

At KEYS Hollywood March 21 – 24, AMTC (Actors & Models and Talent for Christ) set up an exhibitor table right beside ours. Ieesha was encouraged to audition right at the conference, which she did on Saturday afternoon. Just before that, at lunch, she received a strong word from Apostle Sharon Billins that she would be on the cover of magazines and in the future would have her own clothing & design company. All this would happen while she was still a very young 14 or 15 years old. Then the next day, David Ranier gave her a word that she was being accelerated – literally jumping some phases of life as the call of the Lord was upon her life for this moment in history. And sure enough she got a call back on Sunday and the miracle began.

Ieesha believes that she is called to be a “model” of hope and faith in Jesus for other young women, especially to Hispanic youth and Mexicans. Rick Larie confirmed this with a word this morning in our Master’s Mind Marketing meeting. Her hope and plan has been that with the resources and connections in this industry, she would like to start her own clothing & design company while she is studying to become a structural engineer and architect. Her vision is to build amazing communities that are self sustaining, full of life, and all natural – not destructive to trees and the natural environment of the area. She has been studying with a graphic artist and already learning to design with graphic arts software for architecture. Finally, her ultimate, long-term dream is to serve her people and country.

Ieesha is a prophetically promised child. She was promised to me 17 years before her birth. God’s purpose and mantles that she carries are by design and have tremendous destiny. My Mexican/Canadian daughter carries an anointing to unite the north with the south in a crucial moment in the history of three nations – Canada, United States and Mexico. Her attendance at KEYS Canada 2011 was no mistake; it was ordained. Her attendance at KEYS Hollywood 2012 was also a divine appointment, where she received confirmation prophetically that was incredibly powerful and will keep us at the Father’s throne of grace for provision and protection. She was baptized in our church in Canada two years ago and recently at Max Grienert’s home in Texas, she was baptized in the Spirit.

Ieesha has grown up for the most part in our Learning Centers in Mexico. We lived in Canada and we cared for my mother for 18 months. Now we have been back in Mexico for 18 months in a new city, rebuilding our Learning Center and our lives. It is the Lord’s plan being released and I humbly submit this request to my sisters and brothers in Christ and trust the provision with be accompanied with the call.

This past week …

• I began coaching my daughter Caren for the very first time
• My son Robbie experienced the most profound move of God and greatest favor he has ever seen at work
• Julia was asked to be a guest panelist on an upcoming teleseminar with one of the top leaders of Evolv Health
• I learned that Issi, Julia’s identical twin sister, is taking life coach training
• I completed the “Love Changes Everything” chapter for Marnie Pehrson’s upcoming book “Trust Your Heart: Building Relationships That Build Your Business.”
• I experienced a variety of big breakthroughs with blogging and how I share with my various blogs
• I was privileged to have private Breakthrough Life Coaching sessions with seven clients
• We had our Week 7 Master’s Mind Marketing group coaching session for our Founding Father’s tribe. During our meeting, we had the privilege of meeting Sanford Coggins, a wonderful leader with a godly vision to transform how commercial real estate investing is done.
• I had the privilege of going to the quarterly Shepherd’s Table gathering in Northern Virginia to hear and see Stephanie Klinzing speak about city and nation transformation on Friday March 2. When I saw Stephanie, she gave me a big hug. Stephanie was the mayor of Elk River Minnesota from 2000-2008 and according to Ed Silvoso, founder of Harvest Evangelism, Elk River is the most transformed city in North America. Stephanie’s visit to Virginia in this 2012 year was so significant spiritually because it has been prophesied that Virginia is the Covenant Root state with governmental authority for the world and Stephanie is the most anointed person I know to transform governments.

On March 3, I received an email from Dr. Mike Murdock titled “Focus on Faith.” I’ve been thinking about how you can be more focused and successful in business. Here are some of my thoughts: 1) PLAN: Apply the 24-hour rule! 2) PLAN: Be a good steward with your time and that of others. 3) FOCUS: Know your target, keep your eyes on it, and keep shooting at it until you hit it.
