As I sat listening to today’s sermon at Soul Purpose Community Church, I felt compelled to share this recap with you because this message is foundational for followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus Is Alive, Again! The cornerstone of a Christian’s faith is the RESURRECTION of Jesus. It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ that separates Christianity from every other religion, every other philosophy, and every other belief system in the world. The great apostle Paul wrote, “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!” (1 Cor. 15:17) WHY THE RESURRECTION?

During the past few months, I have become good friends with Bill Murray and Rob Moss, the founders of the Christian Angel Capital Network (CACN). A few weeks ago, our Founding Father’s tribe had the privilege of having Bill join us as a guest expert for one of our weekly Master’s Mind Marketing meetings. Yesterday evening I received this email from Breaking Christian News announing Chuck Colson’s death. That broke my heart because Chuck Colson was a spiritual giant and a champion for religious freedom. While I was deeply saddened by this news, I rejoice knowing he left a plan of succession. At 10:37 am in the morning on April 12 I received an email from Laurie Roberts titled “PLEASE HELP TODAY! THANK YOU!” After reading what Laurie wrote and being aware of some of the miracles behind this huge God story, I couldn’t get this out of my mind. So I emailed me list asking for help. About 10 people responded and 7 people contributed a total of $1056 within 8 hours of sending my email asking for help.

Today is Easter, also known as Resurrection Sunday, the most significant day in the Christian calendar. My pastor frequently refers to Easter as the Christian Superbowl. More people go to worship services on Easter and Christmas than any other days of the year. This message today is the most profound one I have ever written.
